Our Story
What started as a simple adventure turned into one of the most meaningful chapters of our lives. Ryan and Brandi's 1970’s Cruise-A-Home wasn’t just a boat — it was our home. We lived aboard her on the peaceful waters of Lake Union in Seattle, waking up to misty mornings, city lights reflecting on the water, and the gentle rhythm of life afloat. She carried us through quiet coffee sunrises, rainy Northwest evenings, and unforgettable gatherings with friends who couldn’t believe a houseboat could feel so warm stylish, and alive. Living on the water changed us. There’s something grounding about untied living — the soft rocking at night, the sound of seabirds in the morning, and the way stress melts away when your front yard is open water. We fell in love with that rhythm and the freedom brings. Eventually, we knew we wanted to share it. So we made a bold decision: we shipped our beloved 70’s Cruise-A-Home from Seattle down the coast to Sausalito, California — one of the most iconic floating home communities in the world. Nestled just north of San Francisco, Sausalito offers calm marinas, stunning bay views, and that perfect blend of relaxed coastal charm and upscale waterfront living. Now, what was once our personal sanctuary has become a curated, luxury floating experience for others.
We carefully preserved her classic 1970’s character while elevating the comfort and style — blending vintage charm with modern amenities. Warm wood finishes, cozy textures, water views from nearly every angle, and the peaceful magic that only life afloat can offer. This isn’t just a stay. It’s a memory. It’s a reset.
